Project overview
Walls Around needed a store that feels like a gift studio, not a generic print catalog. We built the Shopify site around a live designer: upload a photo, crop it on metal, a magnet, or a desk display, confirm the quality, then order the piece you already saw. Formats are grouped by where they live, so a birthday gift and a large wall print are not competing in one SKU list.

The rental category is crowded - we narrowed the story and rebuilt the path to booking around one memorable niche.

Problem
- Favorite photos stayed in phones. Print shops asked people to guess the crop and finish.
- Soft phone shots printed poorly, and shoppers only found out after the package arrived.
- Formats (wall, fridge, desk, gift box) were hard to compare on a generic catalog theme.
- Gift orders needed a clearer path: pick a look, preview, add a note, then check out.
What we changed
- Built a Shopify storefront around one line: your photo, on metal, magnets, and more.
- Wired a live designer: upload, crop on the real format, confirm quality, then add to cart.
- Structured the catalog by where it lives (wall, desk, fridge, gift) instead of a flat SKU dump.
- Added launch gift notes, format pages, and a mobile path that keeps Design yours in reach.
What we built
Deliverable 01
Gift-first homepage
Hero with Open the designer and Shop by format as equal actions, plus a launch gift-note offer. The story is one line: your photo, on metal, magnets, and more.
Deliverable 02
Live photo designer
Upload, crop on the real format, add text or stickers, and confirm a soft-photo warning before checkout. Studio, on the wall, and on a desk views keep the preview honest.
Deliverable 03
Product pages built for options
Classic Metal Print and sibling SKUs show size, finish, and mount before the designer opens. Live preview, made to order, and gift-ready sit under the primary CTA.

Mobile path that still designs
Launch offer, dual CTAs, and a sticky Design yours control so phone shoppers do not have to hunt the configurator.
