Meta ads account disabled? Business Manager and appeal steps

Facebook or Instagram ads disabled? Check Account Quality, identity, and landing pages before you appeal. Meta decides. Don't spin up a new BM to dodge the ban.

Key takeaways

  • Open Account Quality
  • Match identity to the business
  • Appeal with the real site

Try it yourself first

Use the disabled Business Manager or ad account. A brand-new Business Manager for the same page, pixel, or card is circumvention and usually makes recovery harder.

Disabled Meta ads (Facebook and Instagram) usually trace to Account Quality, identity mismatch, or a landing page that doesn't match the ad - not a random 'Instagram hack' unlock.

We help South Florida businesses with Meta ads management, pixels, and policy-safe landings. We do not recover personal Facebook logins, hacked profiles, or consumer Instagram passwords.

DIY steps

  1. 1Step 1 - Account Quality

    • In Meta Business Suite, open Account Quality (or the email from Meta). Note whether the strike is on the ad account, the Page, the pixel, or the whole Business Manager.
    • Confirm identity: legal business name, admin names, and billing should match the website and the Facebook Page.
    • If the Page was unpublished or restricted, that can block ads even when the ad account looks fine.
  2. 2Step 2 - Landing and creative

    • Every ad URL must load, match the offer, and include required claims (price, before/after rules, restricted categories).
    • Privacy policy and contact details on the site matter for lead ads. Missing policy pages are a common disable reason for local service ads.
    • If the site is malware-flagged or cloaking mobile vs desktop, stop and clean the site before appealing.
  3. 3Step 3 - Appeal once

    • Request a review from Account Quality. Attach what you changed: URL, policy page, identity documents if Meta asked.
    • Do not run the same restricted creative on a friend's personal ad account 'until this clears.'
    • Wait for the review. If denied, fix the cited issue before requesting another.

What this guide is - and isn't

In scope: business ad accounts, Pages used for ads, pixels, and Business Manager restrictions tied to a company website.

Out of scope: personal profile lockouts, dating-app accounts, or anyone offering 'guaranteed Instagram unbans.' Those are not a VIQQ service.

If Meta restores the account

Reinstall or verify the pixel in Events Manager before you scale. A restored account with a broken pixel wastes spend.

Match creative to a dedicated landing - especially for med spa, legal, and housing ads with extra policy rules.

Tap to expand

01Can you guarantee Meta will restore the ad account?
No. Meta decides. We help with identity, landings, pixel, and a clean review request.
02Should I open a new Business Manager?
No. Meta links Pages, pixels, and payment methods. A new BM for the same business while disabled is usually treated as circumvention.
03Is a disabled Page the same as disabled ads?
Not always. A restricted Page can block ads even if the ad account is open. Check Account Quality for which asset is flagged.

Still broken?

Get a scoped repair - no rebuild pitch

Stop DIY if: The whole Business Manager is disabled, you lack admin access, identity documents were rejected twice, or the site is compromised - contact us for Meta ads help. Meta still approves or denies. We don't create shadow Business Managers.

Account Quality, identity, pixel, and landing match - then a clean review request. Meta decides. We don't create a second Business Manager to dodge a ban.
