VTranslate
Understand the conversation. Keep your place in it.
A desktop assistant for international calls: live speech translation, the original wording, conversation history and help preparing a reply in one workspace.

Built around everyday work.
During a call, switching between a translator, notes and the meeting window makes it easy to lose the thread. The translation needs to remain visible while the conversation continues.
What we built
We built VTranslate for our own work. It captures computer audio or a microphone, sends speech to a cloud translation service and displays the original and translation as the conversation unfolds.
VTranslate grew out of our own international calls. Team members needed to understand the person speaking, keep track of details and prepare a reply without constantly switching tools. We turned that everyday need into a desktop product, then adapted the application for Windows and macOS. Its language coverage includes 156 languages, with several language pairs illustrated in this case.

A clear sequence. A useful result.
Explore the stages to see what the application does at each step.
Choose the audio source
Capture the call playing on the computer or select a microphone for a live conversation. The input meter helps check that sound is coming through.
The original. The meaning. Your reply.
A simplified interface illustration with invented content. No personal records are shown.

One workspace
Current translation, original speech, history and reply preparation stay together.
Speaker context
Speaker labels and editable names help follow the dialogue. Automatic attribution can need correction.
Voice messages
Audio files can be added separately, without replaying them through the microphone.
A tool we keep refining
Our own application for everyday team use, refined around international calls and the details that matter to employees.
VTranslate uses cloud AI processing and requires internet access and a configured API key. Translation quality depends on sound, connection and context. The illustration uses an invented dialogue and contains no call recordings.
A product for the people doing the work.
For teams whose work crosses language boundaries every day, not just on an occasional trip.
International sales
Understand a customer's questions, prepare a clear reply and return to earlier details after the call.
Distributed teams
Keep the original speech and its meaning together during meetings with colleagues and contractors.
Service and client teams
Follow a live conversation or work through a voice message before deciding how to respond.
Less switching. More understanding.
Stay in the conversation
A live speech translation workspace keeps the current phrase visible while the discussion continues. The original helps check wording when it matters.
Reply with more confidence
Prepare a reply in the language of the conversation and keep your questions nearby, rather than composing everything under pressure.
Keep the context
Conversation history makes it easier to revisit names, agreements and questions that need a follow-up.
A desktop tool for a real workflow
Audio sources, translation, voice-message input and reply preparation come together in a desktop workspace designed around everyday team use.
What to consider
Live cloud translation needs a connection. Noise, overlapping speech, accents and specialist terms can affect accuracy. Language coverage does not mean every language has identical speech quality or every mode works in every language. Important agreements still need a human check.
Build on the product. Go further.
These are development options for a custom version. We select the models, hardware requirements and integrations for your scenario.
Offline translation
A local speech recognition and translation pipeline for selected languages and compatible computers, with a separate model and hardware configuration.
Spoken translation
Speech output, headset routing and a clear handoff between listening, translation and a spoken reply.
Meeting subtitles and summaries
A subtitle overlay, a structured summary, decisions and next actions after a meeting.
Your terminology and systems
Industry vocabulary, conversation templates, transcript export and integrations with your CRM or knowledge base.
A translation tool built for your team.
We can build a similar desktop application, adapt the approach to your workflow or develop a focused tool around a specific conversation scenario. The value is in connecting audio, language processing and a useful interface to the way your employees actually work.
